Account information
When you sign up, we collect your email address via our authentication provider (Clerk). You may also provide your first name and business details during onboarding.
Business profile data
We collect information you voluntarily provide about your business including your niche, product price range, target cost per purchase, profit margin, advertising objective, and target market. This is used solely to personalise your audit results.
Meta account data
When you connect your Meta Business account, we store an encrypted access token and your ad account name and ID. We use this to retrieve your campaign, pixel, and performance data from the Meta Marketing API in order to generate your audit report.
Audit data
We store the results of each audit you run, including your account health score, pixel health, campaign structure analysis, and performance analysis. We also store any messages you send in the audit chat feature.
Technical data
We collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is used for security and operational purposes only.
Contact form
If you use the contact form on our site, we collect your name, email address, message, and the topic you select, along with your IP address for spam prevention. We use this to respond to your enquiry and store it to keep a record of correspondence.
We use your data to provide and operate the Adzento service, generate personalised Meta ads audit reports, power the AI chat feature within your audit report, send transactional emails related to your account, maintain the security and integrity of our service, and comply with legal obligations. Our lawful basis for processing your data is contract performance — we need your data to provide the service you have signed up for.
We share your data only with the following trusted third-party service providers to operate the service: Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database storage, EU servers), Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic (AI model for audit insights and chat), Meta Platforms (Marketing API queries to generate your audit, and — only if you consent to the advertising cookie described in Section 9 — the Meta Pixel, which measures the effectiveness of our own ads), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (delivery of transactional and contact form emails), and Crisp (live chat support — may collect your IP address, browser information, and any messages you send via the chat widget). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your audit history, chat messages, and business profile data are deleted within 30 days, and your Meta connection is immediately revoked. If your account is inactive for 24 consecutive months, we will email you before deleting your data.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@adzento.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
We protect your data using AES-GCM encryption for Meta access tokens, secure HTTPS connections across the entire site, and access controls limiting who can access stored data. In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the ICO as required by law.
Adzento uses essential cookies required for the site to function, including authentication session cookies managed by Clerk, and a cookie that remembers your cookie consent choice. These are always active and cannot be switched off.
With your consent, given via the cookie pop-up shown on your first visit, we also set the Meta Pixel's advertising cookies (_fbp and, where applicable, _fbc). These let us measure which of our own Meta ads led to a signup and build lookalike audiences for future campaigns. The Pixel does not load, and no advertising cookie is set, unless you accept or switch it on yourself. The pop-up lets you either accept everything or open Preferences to switch advertising cookies on or off individually before saving. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer, which reopens the same panel pre-filled with your current setting.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last updated.
